  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp butter

For Garnish

  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped fresh cilantro or green onions
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven – Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  2. Season the wings – In a bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne, and garlic powder until well coated.
  3. Bake the wings – Spread the wings evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even crispiness.
  4. Prepare the glaze – In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add sauce ingredients – Stir in soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Coat the wings – Remove wings from the oven and toss them in the hot glaze until fully coated.
  7. Broil for extra crispiness – Place the wings back in the oven under the broiler for 3-5 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Garnish and serve – Sprinkle with sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime before serving.
