  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or white wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

Prepare and Sear the Chicken:

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sticky Lemon Sauce:

  3. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, and vinegar.

  4. Bring to a gentle simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  5. If desired, add cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.

Glaze the Chicken:

  1. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat with the sauce.

  2. Simmer for 2–3 more minutes, basting the chicken with the sticky glaze.

Serve and Garnish:

  1. Garnish with chopped parsley or coriander and lemon slices.

  2. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or with stir-fried vegetables.
