Turkey Cranberry Sliders

Close-up of a Turkey Cranberry Slider with sliced turkey, melted brie, cranberry sauce and arugula

A slab of sweet dinner rolls filled with sliced turkey, melted brie, whole-berry cranberry sauce and Dijon mayo, brushed with honey-Dijon butter and poppy seeds and baked until golden. Arugula goes in after baking for a fresh, peppery finish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sliders

  • 12 sweet dinner rolls, in one connected slab
  • 12 oz cooked turkey, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz brie, sliced
  • 3/4 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup baby arugula

For the Dijon Mayo

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

For the Honey-dijon Butter

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Keeping the rolls connected, cut the slab in half horizontally with a serrated knife. Place the bottom half in the dish.
  3. Stir together the mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon Dijon and spread it over the bottom half of the rolls, right to the edges.
  4. Layer the turkey evenly over the rolls, top with the brie and spoon the cranberry sauce over the cheese. Replace the top half of the rolls.
  5. Whisk the melted butter, honey, 1 teaspoon Dijon, garlic powder and thyme. Brush generously over the tops and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 5 minutes more, until golden, the brie has melted and the center reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Lift off the top slab, scatter the arugula over the cranberry sauce and replace the top. Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days and reheat wrapped in foil at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, until the center reaches 165°F (74°C). Assembled, unbaked sliders can be refrigerated for up to 8 hours before baking.
